Beloved Mac

My PowerBook Titanium 1ghz PowerPC G4 is my longest serving Mac I've ever had. In fact, its my longest serving laptop which has been for service for more than 6 years without fail. Though it little bit of a lower specs, but it is incredibly good as it can still do video and photo editing.

However sadly, my PowerBook's charger is officially dead and neither those technician at Apple Shop can revived from the dead. Buying a new charger for that seems worthless as I need to order it from overseas straight from the source and its gonna hit me with a big bucks!

So I have to accept the fact that its almost time for its departure but am still crossing finger to get a secondhand unit of that obsolete charger. Till then, I just let my PowerBook laid to rest.

Shock & Shiok

It has been too long for my Powerbook 1ghz powerPC G4 serving me and in fact, its still serving me quite well. Good enough for browsing, simple mp3s download, word processing and even office networking. All of my Mac's friend have upgraded themselves to a new Intel-based Mac eversince the year it was introduced leaving me behind quite far.

Since I took up photography seriously, I foresee that all new recent DSLR's softwares are not meant for my old powerbook anymore. Its time for me to upgrade after 3 years holding it back!

So I decided to get an iMac. My first thought was that the intended iMac will be Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6Ghz with 320GB Hdd and all with wired keyboard and mouse. I was shock when my friend in ITFusion told me it is more than that!! 3.06ghz of Intel Core 2 Duo with 500GB Hdd and 4GB DDR3 ram. I am still clueless even now. Now I realised that I have left out quite substantial of my life for not bothering myself with the current Mac technologies.

Anyway, Moorey told me tomorrow is the day that my iMac will arrived. I am not sure whether am shiok state of mind or what. But am sure that am still in SHOCK!

First Night Without Mama

Eversince my second child was born, there is no history of my wife leaving me to babysit my 2 kids for a whole day and night. Tonight is the night as she had to go KL having a meeting next thing after breaksfast tomorrow morning.

At first, I am kind of worried as my son is actually emotionally attached to his mother. Anything and literally everything must come from Mama, even feeding his "nenen". I never had any track record of a success of giving my boy rest to sleep at night. And he is now alnost 1 year and 2 months old.

However, I may have underestimated my own capabillities. To my own surprise, I managed to rest both of my children to sleep even before 11.30pm just now without so much hassle. But I had to switch everything off including the light. And that make me sleepy too.

Ah well, its almost mid night and I had to be on standby all night long as this time, there are not gonna be any assistant for me. Hopefully I can go through tonight with a success. Amin....

Never Had The Guts

Everytime I saw a family with a small baby waiting for a bus on a road side, I've always had the urge or intention to stop and offer them for a lift. But sadly, it never happen. My mind keeps telling me that it won't work anyway because people will always put up a strange perceptions and at the same time having some suspicious feelings that I may do something bad to them. Yeah, obviously am unknown to them, then why should they trust me anyway. Let alone to accept my offer.

But on second thought, I may be having prejudice thought against them or perhaps, I don't have the guts to really stop and utter the offers. For whatever it is, I wish one day I have the courage to do so. Perhaps everyone can do too.

Ridiculous Concept Of Termination

I have an Astro set at my previous home but knowing we will move out, so stop paying the bill. So Astro cut off the line temporarily for amount that still outstanding.

Once we move out, I decided to terminate the account. When I called Astro they told me that to enable the termination, it must be made in 1 month notice AND my account must be active. I was like HUH???!!! BIG TIME!!!! This is so ridiculous.

Meaning that I have to pay for the outstanding amount first just to make the account active then plus another a month billing just to adhere the 1 month notice before it can be terminated for good. This is really an organized scam work!!! What am I suppose to do with the active account for a month if am not there to watch it?!

Power Of A Polite Greeting

Am so fed up with traffic jam. Everywhere we are facing the same issue including the place I went to yesterday. I went to one of Kuching shopping mall to survey certain items. But on entrance, there are so many cars and it is slow moving.

I was so angry too when some drivers who had no manners were cutting off my line. But upon entrance, while the security guard pass me the ticket, he said "very good morning to you sir!"

I was so shock at that time with this guy's politeness. He just smile at me and all of sudden, my anger just drop off and I smile. Suddenly with that greeting my day was brighten up. I never thought that a simple polite greeting can really change our mood. So don't underestimate it.

Which Come First?

So many unemployed now as nobody wants to hire those as they don't have any experience. Of course they don't have the experience as nobody have yet to give them a chance to be hired. Work first OR experience first?

Favourite Thang!

My favourite girl with my favourite camera!

I have DSLR camera but I preferred my Canon PowerShot G11. Small and mobile with full manual control.

Ahmad Darwisy in da house!

His name is Ahmad Darwisy. He is my 2nd child and the 2nd grandchild of my wife's family. He has been so active eversince in his mother's womb. As what the doctor said to us, if he is so hyper-active in the womb, he will definitely be more active when he is out!

Very true indeed! He is unstopable, very active, none stop action and less talking. A perfect baby espionage spy agent. As compared to his growth with his sister Ayuni, he is much-much smaller and slimmer. I guess there is no words to explain his attribute, but the following photos might help a bit!

The First Day

I remember my normal first day of school day of the year. Normally I would have atleast new pair of shoes and a trouser. New stationaries and books or even new hairdo. I use to walk to school and normally for the first day like today, I would go earlier.

The first day schooling the most important day for us as we normally choose our own table and chair and to choose where to sit in a classroom. We would go as far as to other block of classroom to get the finest table and chairs. Those who came late have to accept to sit up infront of the class (which none of the male students wants that).

How I missed those days. Now, we could just reminizing the old days and sending our kids to school.

Few Photos on HP during my trip

Long Break

Been a long period without any post. Not bored and neither tired, just having unsufficient time. Starts in first week of December 2009, am so busy packing up and shifting office to our new place. Pack, carry and unpack!

Then the 2nd week of December, the whole family were too busy with my sister's wedding. A lot of preparation and logistic for other family members to come from KL, Miri, Brunei, Limbang and Lawas.

Then come to the 3rd week of December. My sister's wedding comes to the 2nd stage. It was held in Bangi, Selangor. I went to KL just 1 day earlier for the wedding. Bring along with all the kids for a long vacation too.

After the wedding, I brought my kids to many places. Zoo Negara, Aquaria, BB Plaza, Sungei Wang, KLCC, Wangsa Maju and all kind of places. Thanks to my friend Apez for lending his car throughout my stay.

The 4th week of December, whole of my family on my mother in-law side went for a journey to Taiping, Perak for my wife cousin's wedding. We drove 7 cars including 2, 12 seaters vans. Its fun! Just a bit tiring for waiting all to arrived. We've stayed 2 nights at Taiping.

Now we are home after 2 weeks journey out of town. Missed my crib and my car. There you are, 4 weeks of excuses for not posting any new entry for the last month of 2009. Well, that is not a good excuse but I will try to post photos here later once everything uploaded here.

For that, good bye 2009 and Greeting to year 2010 to all!
